Love For ♥ Layla

This logo was created as a symbol of Layla’s beauty and to represent her life. 

She was too young and too precious to have left us so soon.

The “Love for Layla” – Make it home: someone who loves you is waiting for you. You are loved, campaign represents our outstanding love for our daughter, but also the love that your parents, your families, and your friends have for you. Your people want you to make it home safely. They will miss you if you don’t.

When you see this logo, remember that you have choices. You can make the choice to drive safely or choose to walk away from a risky situation.

The day we lost our precious Layla will be a day our hearts will never forget. Not only did we lose our daughter due to a tragic accident, but other families lost loved ones as well. Lives were changed forever, and we want to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Losing a child is a painful wound that will never heal completely.

We lost Layla for reasons that we struggle to wrap our minds and our hearts around. There is no person or illness to blame for our loss. Layla’s death could have been prevented. A choice was made that day, a choice that took our daughter’s life and changed our lives forever.

I know Layla would want me to spend Mother’s Day celebrating the incredible love and joy a child brings into a parent’s life. Instead, sadly and horrifically, I will remember every Mother’s Day as the day my daughter was cremated. Please do not let this happen to another mother or father. Especially yours.
